Unreal was the night at The CityClub @ River Ranch. Dana Glenn's record release party & what a party it was. A World Class event with food & drink & music. Dana premiered her new album "Calm Before The Storm" with unforgettable flair. This is an album which Walter Jr. produced, played guitar and composed 13 of the 15 tracks. Recorded by Ivan Klisanain at Opaltone Studios, mixed by Johnny Sandlin at Ducktape & mastered by Jonathan Russell at Masterfonics. Along with Mike Burch on Drums & Robert Nash on Bass are guest soloists and very special background vocals provided by 'Sister Grace'. Dana's singing is simply beautiful. Just lovely. The tracking has been nothing if not incredible. You can start & stop with Mike Burch on Drums & Dave Ranson on Bass...Sonny Landreth's Rhythm Section...add some Walter Jr. Songs/Guitar/Vocals...now you can get an idea of where this is going. DVD Released by Snowflake Video Productions of the hard work, and good times that are the Louisiana way of life. Featuring music by "The Bad Whiskey Man" Walter Jr. along with other luminaries of the Cajun & Zydeco music scene. This is the real thing and if you are anywhere away from The Promised Land this will make you homesick for sure...but the Blues is a allright! Produced by Leslye Abbey.
